glock mag release gen 3

Glock Mag Release Gen 3 - Zev Technologies&Trade Extended Magazine Release for Glock® is machined from billet aluminum and hard anodized. This magazine release is a must have for any Glock® owner. CNC aircraft grade billet aluminum. Black hard anodized mag release body. Hard button face. Black heart anodize button or silver un-anodize button. Alternatively drop. ZEV accessories always embody design, feel and performance.

I originally purchased this product at a Glock store and returned it twice, once because the screws were not attached and tightened properly, and twice because it was too short and would not release the magazine. This product is a bit more expensive than some, but it's worth it for the quality you get and the time and hassle you save by not having to return an item multiple times. This mag release is easy to install, looks good, high quality, I had a hard time getting a mag release on my gen 3, it didn't interfere with my holster and it worked the first time. I could not be happier with this product.

Let me start by saying that this is an amazing Mac release; You can't miss this thing! I was initially concerned that its size would cause me to accidentally dabble in mag production. However, this scenario never materialized. It works with my Safariland holster 6365. I don't know what Hogwarts engineering magic ZT used to create such a great Mac output, but I appreciate it! Regrettable reason for the downgrade now. The button is held in place by a miniature screw. If something happens to this screw (eg, it snaps or disappears), the benefits of the increased output are lost. I'm a huge fan of redundancy when it's used effectively, so this is a point of failure. You can still operate the gun without the oversized thumb button, but it comes at the cost of less functionality. I am writing this from experience! Consider fitting another screw to the device or adding an accessory to the kit.

I am in the process of building a polymer 80 frame. I was surprised to find a Zev extended Mac edition at a price that fits my budget, and I'm glad I did. The overall design is perfect for me. The button is perfectly positioned above the release and the button felt great on my thumb, didn't slip and didn't feel bulky on my thumb.

When this one is finished and the bottoms are restored, I plan to do another one. I will add another Zev Mac edition to that build, maybe with a color change.

Just received my ZEV extended magazine for 1st-3rd GEN, SMALL, BLACK. It was very easy to install, and makes reloading easy. No problem carrying in my holster (extra cart). It will not release unless pressed even while driving. Thank you Jev.

Gen3 Extended Mag Release For The Glock

I bought this for one of my carry pistols thinking it would be similar to the Gen 4 extended magazine I had. This road is too much for me and it is too far. I imagine it would be fine for a competition gun, but not practical for my EDC stuff.

Had to buy this for 2 reasons, #1 is that it serves its purpose. And because the second one is amazing!

At least for the party that said my G34 was "over extended, no more than 1/16th of the stock output" the Gen 4s may be different here. If I have any problem it's that it's crappier than stock, it needs more. pressure to drop the magazine, but over time it will polish or the frame will change. I believe.

I no longer need to change my grip to drop a mag and the only thing I don't like is that my mags don't lock unless I load them with great force. In most cases this is not a major problem, but this is a defensive gun, so one-handed reloading can be difficult. Fits nicely in my We The People IWB holster for the Glock 13 gen 3.

Excellent design, materials and workmanship. Easy inflow speed mag changes in the match. I wish the Zev was 2-3mm smaller so duty guns would be a better thumb buy during emergency reloads. I would buy this again!**This only applies to Gen3 models: 17, 19, 22, 23, 26, 27, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 37, 38, 39**

I installed this on my G17 Gen4 with a medium backstrap. Before installing this extended release, I had to break my grip to operate the mag release (I hold the gun very close to the bore axis). With this product, I don't have to. Note: If two screws are loose, add Loctite to them as well. So far it's been pretty solid. As usual, very fast delivery, thank you.

Installed on G19X and G17 Gen4. Easy to install. The extension makes it easier to publish the magazine, especially in the 19X. This extension allows me to release the magazine with my thumb without changing my grip. Great addition and doesn't get in the way of my holster.

Great button for quick mag changes, especially for those of us with larger hands who have trouble pushing the rotary factory release. This is a must have accessory for any Glock!

Glock Mag Release Gen 3

This is a great product. This is a polymer mag release that is drilled to take the aluminum extension. I was a little worried about it, but it's great, looks great, no problems yet. If the tab is undone, there will be a fixed polymer button at the bottom that will continue to work.

Tr 1 Upgrade Extended Mag Release For Glock Gen 4/5

Very happy with mine. The magazine lock is tight and positive and the extension fits my thumb perfectly. There is no tilt when the magazine is inserted; The fit and finish are fantastic. The reason I bought mine was because I wanted to free up the Mac without changing my grip, and it fit my medium to large hands and thick fingers. If GS releases one with aggressive testing I will buy another.

Originally, the button was drilled in the center, so when the button was pressed, it hit the frame without releasing the magazine. Since it's not a huge deal, I've filed it below for reasonable relevance. This brings up the second problem, after removing the button three times I could feel that one of the screws was not holding tight.

To be fair, I haven't contacted the Glock store about this, but I'm sure they'll take care of it.

I received my order and immediately installed the extended magazine on my Glock 19. It takes less than 10 minutes! I have to say I was a little skeptical until I tried it. This extended Mac edition is great! I have carried this gun for 4 years and for the first time I can easily do a magazine swap. A great addition to my favorite cherry arsenal. I highly recommend it.

Strike Industries For Glock Gen 3 Magazine Release

One thing I hated about the Glock was the ergonomics of the magazine. It pissed me off because I didn't want to adjust my grip in a life-and-death situation. I got a cheap extended release and it sucks. So I bought this tear drop model. I have to admit that the overall quality surpasses the factor and other extended edition I received. Overall functionality is perfect. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better ergonomic solution for a factory release. I can't speak to the holster release feature. I use it as my tactical night gun. I keep it next to me when I'm at home so it never goes into the holster. I have other guns for that.
